Filled with sweet harmonies, “Moonlight” creates a feeling of rest and contemplation as it challenges the performer to explore the gentler side of the pan.  Though shorter in length, it is a work that is filled with feeling, and is sure to please any listener or performer.

“Now I Lay” depicts the various cycles of a good night’s sleep.  Beginning with a ticking clock ostinato melody, it then moves into themes depicting dreams and nightmares only to end with the ringing of an alarm.

AFTER the fALL is a four mallet tenor pan suite composed of three movements:  Retribution, Reflection, and Rebirth.  Through the use of broad chorale passages interrupted by moments of perpetual motion, this piece portrays feelings of pain, sorrow, and regret, before eventually offering new hope.
